TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Tunis abrite la première édition des Rencontres internationales Houssine Bouzaïane de théâtre qui se tient du 26 au 31 juillet 2022, a annoncé, ce mardi, le ministère des Affaires culturelles.
Cette édition inaugurale des Rencontres internationales Houssine Bouzaïane de théâtre est placée sous le thème » Le théâtre et la vie ». Elle est baptisée « session Moncef Souissi », au nom du grand homme du théâtre disparu Moncef Souissi (1944-2016). Un hommage lui sera rendu en présence de sa famille.
Outre la Tunisie, des représentants d’universités de six pays arabes dont l’Algérie, l’Egypte, l’Irak, Oman, la Palestine et la Syrie prennent part à cet événement
La cérémonie d’ouverture prévoyait un carnaval et un spectacle au Théâtre des régions à la Cité de la culture. La clôture aura lieu au théâtre de plein air de la Cité des sciences. La maison de la culture Ibn Rachiq, la Technopole Borj Cédria et la maison de la culture de Slimane abriteront une partie du programme.
Onze spectacles de théâtre, ateliers et rencontres-débats dédiée au quatrième art et hommages sont au menu. Une compétition pour les meilleurs spectacles est au programme. Le jury présidé par la Tunisienne Zhaira Ben Ammar est composé de Basma Ferchichi (Tunisie), Abdelhak Ben Maarouf (Algérie) et Bilal Dhiabat (Jordanie).
Cette nouvelle manifestation est organisée par le Centre universitaire d’art dramatique et d’activités culturelles (CUADAC – Tunis) en partenariat avec le Théâtre de l’Opéra de Tunis (TOT) et l’Office des œuvres universitaires pour le Nord (OOUN). Elle se tient dans le cadre du partenariat entre les ministères des Affaires culturelles et de l’enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche scientifique.
Ces Rencontres internationales sont baptisées au nom de Houssine Bouzaïane (1925-1956), connu pour sa grande passion pour le théâtre qu’il avait pratiqué dans le cadre de spectacles. Ce grand militant pour l’indépendance de la Tunisie avait été la cible d’un assassinat politique à l’aube de l’indépendance.
Les expériences théâtrales en milieu universitaire arabe sont au cœur des débats. Les délégations participantes examineront également le projet de création d’un organisme arabe dédié au théâtre universitaire.
