TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS AfricInvest a annoncé la sortie de ses deux fonds « AfricInvest II LLC » et « AfricInvest Financial Sector Fund Ltd » du capital de Bridge Group West Africa (BGWA), une société holding de services financiers contrôlée par Teyliom International Group.
Au cours de la période d’investissement, AfricInvest a accompagné BGWA dans son parcours de croissance, passant d’une activité bancaire commerciale dans un seul pays, Bridge Bank Group Côte d’Ivoire, à un groupe régional diversifié qui couvre aujourd’hui le Sénégal via Bridge Bank Senegal, offrant un service innovant d’épargne et de crédit mobile, et ce, par l’intermédiaire de Bridge Micro Finance (BMF).
Avec l’appui d’AfricInvest, Bridge Bank a élargi l’accès au financement et au crédit pour les PME et les personnes vulnérables en Afrique de l’Ouest, favorisant l’officialisation et l’expansion des entreprises qui représentent la grande majorité des emplois dans la région et contribuant à la réduction de la pauvreté.
A cette occasion, Skander Oueslati, Chief Investment Officer et Senior Partner chez AfricInvest a déclaré : « Nous sommes heureux d’avoir collaboré avec BGWA dans sa stratégie de diversification.
