TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS Un rêve, un projet, un festival international et deux frères Roua et Wala Eddine Tlili licenciés en cinéma et en audiovisuel accompagnés d’une équipe de jeunes étudiants de l’Institut Supérieur des Arts Multimédia de la Manouba, s’unissent pour réaliser un film documentaire intitulé « El Casino ».
Dans un festival international comme MIFF où les stars cinématographiques brillent, les plus jeunes de la compétition déclenchent leur première étincelle avec beaucoup d’espoir et de persévérance grâce à un leur court métrage qui leur a pris un mois de préparation, 2 mois de montage en post-production et une semaine de composition musicale.
Le casino est un hôtel situé à Hammam-Lif, construit à la fin du XIXème siècle, sous le protectorat français. En 2013, suite à la fuite de son exploitant qui n’a pas payé ses dettes de 250000 dinars, l’édifice est fermé et abandonné. Avec son style mauresque, ses couleurs éclatantes et son architecture unique, il attire de nombreux artistes, depuis quelques années, à l’instar d’Alya Mlaiki qui avait organisé une exposition photographique à son honneur, sans parler du contenu sur les réseaux sociaux qui promeut la beauté et le charme du casino.
Néanmoins, Roua et Wala Eddine Tlili, les deux réalisateurs du film, affirment que le but premier de leur œuvre est loin d’être informatif, « Nous ne cherchons ni à donner la date de sa construction, ni à révéler des données sur l’édifice; nous tentons plutôt, de créer une symbiose entre le spectateur et le sujet du film, « révèle Roua Tlili, coréalisatrice du documentaire qu’elle qualifie de « poétique ».
Ainsi, entre les images-sons se réincarne le passé, entre la salle et l’étage, l’histoire d’Hammam Lif se déroule, sous le dôme du Casino et entre le réel el l’imaginaire le court-métrage embarque ceux qui connaissent Hammam Lif dans un voyage au fond de leurs souvenirs et ceux qui ne connaissent pas la région, dans une aventure d’expédition atypique.
C’est entre applaudissements et encouragements des acteurs, des critiques, et des responsables que les deux réalisateurs comprennent que la fin du film présage le début de leurs carrières dans le domaine cinématographique. Les jeunes affirment que la meilleure récompense est celle de voir dans les yeux des spectateurs la fierté d’avoir un patrimoine aussi riche en Tunisie et la déception de le voir aussi négligé par l’Etat.
Le grand public pourra assister à la projection du film qui sortira en avant-première prochainement. Nous le trouverons, également, dans plusieurs compétitions nationales et internationales; une manière de revendiquer la beauté de notre pays en mettant en avant ses constructions qui ballottent entre ancrage local et universel.
