Le comité administratif local de l’Union régionale des travailleurs tunisiens à Zarzis a décidé d’une grève générale dans la ville de Zarzis, le mardi 18 octobre 2022.
Cette décision a été prise après coordination avec l’Association des marins pêcheurs, l’Union des agriculteurs, la Ligue tunisienne de défense des droits de l’Homme ainsi que l’UTICA.
Les institutions vitales tels que les hôpitaux et les pharmacies ainsi que les boulangeries ne sont pas concernées par cette grève.
Cette grève intervient après le naufrage d’une embarcation, à son bord des migrants irréguliers de la ville de Zarzis.
De son côté, l’Association des marins pêcheurs a décidé de reprendre les recherches en mer, à partir d’aujourd’hui matin, après la disparition de plusieurs personnes qui ont participé à une opération d’immigration clandestine.
Plusieurs corps ont été repêchés cette semaine par les marins de Zarzis.
