« La Rue Belhassen Jrad, à Tunis, a été le point de départ de la campagne, au niveau du marché Sidi el-Bahri, a-t-il précisé, ajoutant que cette initiative a continué, dans un deuxième temps, vendredi soir et samedi matin, à la Place Barcelone, Place Mongi Bali, Avenue de la station et à l’intersection reliant Place Barcelone à la Rue Jamel Abdennaceur où 36 points de vente anarchique ont été démontés.
Selon le responsable, le principal but de ces campagnes, menées en collaboration avec la Direction de la police municipale ainsi que la Direction générale de la sûreté nationale, est de limiter les étals anarchiques dans les principaux axes de la capitale et libérer les trottoirs de ces points de vente illégaux.
Le président de la République, Kaïs Saïed, a effectué, vendredi soir, une visite dans différents endroits à Tunis et pris connaissance des négligences au niveau de la protection de l’environnement dans plusieurs rues de la capitale.
Il a, à cette occasion, insisté sur la nécessité pour toutes les municipalités et les parties compétentes d’accomplir leur rôle de protéger l’environnement dans toutes les régions du pays.
