TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS Depuis l’annonce de la signature du protocole d’accord entre la Tunisie et l’Union européenne, les médias étrangers ont présenté des titres contradictoires exprimant des opinions divergentes concernant ce mémorandum d’entente sur l’immigration. Certains médias ont adopté une tonalité positive et ont salué cet accord.
Le journal Le Monde a évoqué « un partenariat stratégique complet » dans sa couverture de l’accord entre la Tunisie et l’Union européenne. De même, Le Point a souligné que la rencontre entre les dirigeants visait à finaliser un « partenariat stratégique » axé sur la lutte contre l’immigration irrégulière et le soutien économique à la Tunisie.
D’autre part, Les Echos ont mis l’accent sur l’objectif de l’accord, à savoir lutter contre la migration irrégulière, en qualifiant le partenariat entre l’Union européenne et la Tunisie de « partenariat stratégique » centré sur cette problématique.
Cependant, malgré ces titres positifs de la presse étrangère, la RTBF a souligné l’absence de commentaires sur les graves violations des droits humains en Tunisie dans le cadre de cet accord. L’interview avec Hatem Nafti a révélé les préoccupations liées à la situation des droits humains, à l’emprisonnement des opposants politiques et aux traitements inhumains infligés aux migrants. Cette divergence d’opinion souligne le contraste entre la perception positive de la presse étrangère et les préoccupations exprimées par la RTBF et d’autres médias tunisiens.
