En ce sens, Hela Chaari, directrice du Centre de Carrière et des Alumni à la SMU, a rappelé que «la diplomatie économique vise à promouvoir les produits et services tunisiens à l’étranger et n’est pas la chasse gardée du département des Affaires étrangères», soulignant la nécessité de multiplier les efforts pour attirer les IDE en Tunisie.
Pour ce faire, il s’avère nécessaire d’user de l’outil politique pour atteindre les objectifs économiques et, par conséquent, mettre en place des mécanismes de financement afin de pallier à l’éparpillement des efforts.
