TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Le Ministre saoudien des Finances, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan, et la Ministre tunisienne des Finances, Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia, ont signé, aujourd’hui, jeudi 20 juillet 2 023 en Tunisie, un accord de crédit préférentiel d’un montant de (400) millions de dollars et une aide de (100) millions de dollars, à la Tunisie, selon un communiqué publié par l’Ambassade du Royaume d’Arabie Saoudite en Tunisie et ce « en application des directives du Serviteur des Deux Saintes Mosquées le Roi Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud et de Son Altesse Royale le Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prince héritier et Premier Ministre.
Le communiqué ajoute, qu' »à cette occasion, Al-Jadaan a expliqué que la signature de l’accord pour fournir le prêt et le protocole d’accord pour la subvention vient confirmater la profondeur et de la solidité des relations fraternelles qui lient les dirigeants des deux pays frères.
Le communiqué indique également que « le Royaume continue de renforcer la coopération dans divers domaines avec la République tunisienne, soulignant que le prêt à des conditions préferentielles et le don sont une extension des efforts antérieurs du Royaume, dont le dernier consistait à fournir un prêt au trésor public du pays auprès de la Banque centrale de Tunisie d’une valeur de 500 millions de dollars en 2019.
Il a ajouté que cet appui contribue directement à ouvrir de nouvelles voies de financement pour la Tunisie en provenance des pays frères et amis, en plus des organismes financiers régionaux et internationaux.
