TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Entre Kaïs Saïed et le Fonds monétaire international (FMI), c’est un bras-de-fer sournois qui est engagé et on ne connait ni les tenants ni les aboutissants… ni, aussi, comment ça va se terminer, surtout que la décision peut être reportée sine die, pour on ne sait quand, alors que le temps presse et qu’il est nécessaire de prendre une décision, pour savoir où l’on va.
Dernière déclaration en date, celle Kristalina Georgieva, directrice générale du FMI, qui a précisé, dans une interview accordée à la chaine Al Arabiya, samedi 15 avril 2023, que « les discussions entre les deux parties se poursuivaient afin de trouver un moyen de réduire les différences des points de vue. La bonne nouvelle est que, grâce aux amis de la Tunisie, les garanties financières pour le programme existent déjà »
C’est l’histoire de la poule et de l’œuf qui se répète, sans savoir qui est né le premier, et on se demande comment le FMI va plier, au risque de créer un précédent qui sera, totalement, à l’opposé de sa politique, ou si la Tunisie accepte de prendre d’une main ce qu’elle va rembourser illico presto, de l’autre… au FMI, puisque la délivrance de chacune des quatre tranches correspond à la date de remboursement de la même somme au Fonds !!!
L’Union européenne, dans sa totalité, s’est mobilisée pour apporter son soutien à la Tunisie, puisque leur stabilité face à l’afflux des migrants clandestins dépend de celle de ce pays, envahi par les Subsahariens qui ont fait de la Tunisie –d’une manière très suspecte- une base pour leur émigration clandestine.
L’Algérie qui refoule vers la frontière tunisienne ces hôtes indésirables par centaines, tous les jours, fait l’innocent et proclame, aussi, qu’elle soutient la Tunisie –nécessité oblige- parce que sa sécurité dépend, aussi, de celle de son voisin, mais, avec l’intention claire de le vassaliser.
La Tunisie est, certes, entre l’enclume et le marteau et toute solution qui va dans le sens des recommandations du FMI sera lourde de conséquences. Toutefois, elle a pu s’en sortir jusqu’à maintenant en étant solvable avec ses créanciers. Le pays vient de débourser, le 13 avril 2023, un montant de 953 millions de dinars, au titre de premier emprunt obligataire de la catégorie BTA, sur un total de 5 émissions, à échoir en 2023, pour un montant total d’environ 2835 millions de dinars.
Conséquence, le solde du compte courant du Trésor est passé de 1914,7 millions de dinars au 12 avril 2023 à 1270,3 millions de dinars au 13 avril 2023, selon les données publiées, vendredi 14 avril 2023, par le site officiel de la Banque centrale de Tunisie (BCT).
Aujourd’hui, l’heure est aux solutions radicales, et il est difficile de prévoir que le FMI mette dans son calendrier la Tunisie, avec la fin des assises du printemps de la Banque Mondiale et du FMI.
Entretemps, le populisme bat son plein et voilà que des partisans de Saïed qui appellent au recours au BRICS. Mais, ils doivent revoir leur copie, surtout qu’il n’est pas facile d’y adhérer, à l’état actuel des choses, et même si on arrive à en faire partie, cela ne sera pas la bonne solution, parce ce sera une fuite vers l’inconnu et qui ne fera que le bonheur de l’Algérie qui ne cherche qu’à nous voir dans son sillage…
Dos au mur, essentiellement à cause de la décennie noire, la Tunisie se doit de trancher dans le vif, même si cela doit être douloureux, et impliquer tous les partenaires sociaux, économiques et financiers, sans diabolisation ni rejet… il y va de l’avenir de tout un pays… et si le torrent arrive, il emportera tout le monde, sans exception. Et comme le dit le proverbe arabe : On trouve dans les rivière ce qu’on ne trouve pas dans la mer !!!
