TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS Il n’est pas dans nos habitudes d’être pessimistes quant aux promesses de l’Europe pour la Tunisie, mais les derniers développements sur la scène européenne et tunisienne, nous permet de l’être… et pour plusieurs raisons !!!
Nous sommes loin de la coopération étroite et mutuellement fructueuse, avec le passage à l’accord de bon voisinage –qui n’en est plus un- et les développements connus sur le Vieux Continent … particulièrement, l’arrivée au pouvoir en Italie du gouvernement d’extrême droite de Georgia Meloni.
L’Europe ne veut pas donner un blanc-seing à Georgia Meloni et ses partenaires extrémistes de droite, de même qu’elle ne veut pas lui donner une fleur et c’est pour ces raisons qu’elle a été accompagnée par la présidente de la Commission européenne, Ursula von der Leyen et M. Mark Rutte, Premier ministre néerlandais. L’objectif en est clair : donner plus de crédibilité aux engagements de l’Union européenne… avec, pourtant, une fausse note du donnant-donnant et cette citation vicieuse évoquant que la concrétisation « doit se faire dans le plein respect des droits de l’Homme » et on ne sait pas qui va définir les règles de ce respect… surtout que l’on sait qu’il y a une odeur de tentative de sauver la pieuvre islamiste imposée le 14 janvier par cette même U.E !!!
Tout cela fait penser qu’il y a une tierce partie qui tire les ficelles dans les coulisses et dont les objectifs ne sont ni ceux de la Tunisie ni, même, ceux de l’Europe qui est, d’habitude, très regardante sur ses relations avec les pays du sud de la Méditerranée qui ont des relations séculaires et dont la sécurité dépend de celle de ces pays d’Afrique du nord considérés comme des avant-postes.
Reste, maintenant, une autre question pour la Tunisie : qu’en sera-t-il de l’accord avec le Fonds monétaire international (FMI) qui n’aurait pas été évoqué, lors de la rencontre entre Kaïs Saïed et ses invités ?
Est-ce une omission volontaire et par qui ? Quelles seront les conditions futures, surtout qu’il est vital pour remettre de l’ordre dans la maison, bien que les 900 millions d’euros promis par l’Europe sont étalés dans le temps ?
Trop de zones d’ombres persistent, ce qui donne matière à suspicion… mais, l’important est qu’il y ait un engagement ferme de toutes les parties, pour mettre fin à ces crises qui empoisonnent la vie de plus d’un peuple et de plus d’un pays.
Maintenant, il est clair que tout le monde a la tête entre l’enclume et le marteau et si on doit couler… il est certain que nous allons tous, en amont et en aval, en subir les conséquences désastreuses, avec des dégâts qui risquent de ressembler, même, à un déluge pour l’Europe… et ce ne seront pas les Etats-Unis, aussi nostalgiques qu’ils sont de leur « printemps arabe » dévastateur et qui parrainent aussi la guerre en Ukraine, qui vont aider les Européens à combattre les flux de migrants irréguliers.
Il faut dire que tout accord qui porte atteinte à la souveraineté de la Tunisie et de son peuple sera chèrement payé tôt ou tard par ceux qui peuvent conclure des accords au mépris de la stabilité à long terme du pays, de sa souveraineté et du sort des générations futures.
En attendant le Mémorandum d’entente, croisons les doigts pour que cet accord ne transforme pas notre Tunisie en « LAMPEDUSA de l’Afrique »… !!
