TUNIS – UNIVERNEWS – La 57ème édition du Festival International de Hammamet a accueilli pour sa 25ème soirée, le mardi 08 août 2023, « Kaligula 2 », pièce de théâtre signée par le réalisateur et metteur en scène tunisien Fadhel Jaziri et produite par le Théâtre National Tunisien et le Nouveau Film. « Kaligula 2 », la 4ème pièce de théâtre programmée dans cette édition, est distribuée par les acteurs Mohamed Kouka, Talel Ayoub, Nouha Nafati, Mohamed Barkati, Slim Dhib, Ichraq Matar, Imene Manai et Rhaiem Bahrini, qui ont gardé leurs petits noms pour la pièce.
Tirée du personnage du 3ème empereur romain Caligula et d’une revisite de l’œuvre d’Albert Camus, la pièce décortique la réalité actuelle, dénonce la violence et dresse l’irrationalité des quêtes individuelles des Hommes. Des sujets précis ont été abordés, à citer l’égalité dans l’héritage, le machisme, la différence et l’intolérance. Et ce, dans un espace clos, blanc et froid, avec des acteurs en serviettes de bain et des émotions alternant entre la cruauté et la faiblesse.
Pour le FIH, « Kaligula 2 » a pris une autre forme au niveau du rythme de la pièce qui s’est étalée sur uniquement 1h30 ainsi qu’une adaptabilité adéquate à la structure du théâtre du FIH dans le décor et la lumière. La comédienne et l’assistante à la mise en scène Amen Nciri a assuré la tenue de cette version.
Le Festival International de Hammamet se poursuit jusqu’au 12 août 2023, et donne rendez-vous le jeudi 10 août avec le chanteur et compositeur égyptien Muslim.
