TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Les turbulences au sein de l’Instance supérieure indépendante pour les élections (ISIE) n’en finissent pas, avec son président Farouk Bouaskar qui n’en finit pas de chercher à évincer les membres qui ne sont pas de son avis.
Le président de l’ISIE dont la situation est irrégulière, actuellement, selon la loi en vigueur, ne doit son maintien à son poste que par la grâce du président de la République Kaïs Saïed qui l’a maintenu à son poste, bien que tout membre ne peut exercer que durant un seul mandat de six ans.
Après Sami Ben Slama, c’est au tour de Maher Jedidi d’être dans le collimateur de Bouaskar, et une réunion s’est tenu, aujourd’hui, en vue du limogeage de l’ancien vice-président de l’Instance qui a, déjà, adressé un avertissement à Maher Jedidi l’accusant de ne pas avoir respecté le devoir de réserves, soulignant que son dossier pourrait subir la même fin que celui de l’ex-membre Sami Ben Slama, avec la possibilité de solliciter le président de la République pour le révoquer.
Le conseil de l’ISIE avait destitué Maher Jedidi de son poste de vice-président. Cependant, cette destitution ne l’a pas empêché de faire plusieurs apparitions médiatiques où il a critiqué le fonctionnement de l’instance, affirmant que sa destitution était une « décision unilatérale et arbitraire » prise par le président de l’ISIE «sans aucune raison, ni justification convaincante».
Jedidi a rejeté les commentaires de Farouk Bouaskar, selon lesquels la cessation de ses fonctions était «une mesure interne» concernant un changement de responsabilités. Si tel était le cas, a-t-il ajouté, Bouaskar aurait également mis fin aux fonctions de Tlili Mansri, le porte-parole, dont le mandat se poursuit. Il a ajouté que lui et Mansri avaient été nommés le même jour.
Ainsi, au lieu de faire son mea culpa pour les dégâts qu’il a commis, Bouaskar continue à foncer tête basse dans le tas, rejetant tout dialogue démocratique avec ses pairs, les membres de l’ISIE qui ont, aussi, quelque chose à dire sur la manière de gérer l’Instance.
