TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Une sélection de 10 films en provenance de 7 pays: Palestine, Maroc, Burkina Faso, Egypte, Liban, Cameroun et Tunisie sont en lice pour «Carthage Ciné-Promesse» de la 34ème édition des Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage (JCC, 28 octobre-4 novembre 2023). Cette compétition est réservée aux productions des étudiants des écoles de cinéma en Afrique et dans le monde arabe.
Créée lors de la 26ème édition des JCC, la compétition de films d’école « Ciné-Promesse » a été lancée en vue de découvrir de nouveaux talents des écoles de cinéma et d’audiovisuel en Tunisie, en Afrique et dans le monde arabe. Affichant son ambition dès le départ d’offrir un espace de visibilité et d’échange et de découverte, « Ciné-promesse » donne à voir le potentiel des étudiants de cinéma aussi bien dans la fiction, le documentaire ou encore le cinéma d’animation.
