Cette visite intervient en concomitance avec la suspension de hauts dirigeants de banques, ainsi que de l’ouverture de plusieurs dossiers d’hommes d’affaires accusés de blanchiment d’argent.
Il convient de noter que des accusations ont été portées contre la Banque centrale, en particulier contre la Commission de transparence et d’analyse financière, pour son incapacité à lutter contre les opérations de blanchiment d’argent et les évasions fiscales.
