TUNIS – UNIVERNEWS – Le chanteur algérien Kamel Bennani s’est produit hier au festival de Nabeul en présentant un récital de musique andalouse dans ses variantes «Hawzi», «Mahdjouz» et «Aroubi», au plaisir d’un public composé de jeunes et de moins jeunes qui a repris en chœur toutes les chansons de Banani, habillées d’une musique épurée…
Soutenu par un orchestre de «vieux routiers de la musique andalouse», composé de cinq musiciens, l’artiste à la guitare, a enchanté son public dans un programme prolifique, aux tonalités modales variées et aux cadences irrégulières. Ses chansons se suivent et se succèdent. Il fallait être un bon connaisseur du répertoire de cet artiste pour pouvoir trouver les titres des chansons interprétées.
Pas de place à la monotonie. Les instrumentistes, imprégnés de l’«Esprit Bennani», ont brillé de maîtrise et de technique dans des interprétations au feeling naturel, exploitant judicieusement le contretemps dans des répliques à la mélodie qui ont enrichi l’arrangement et embelli le chant. Il a fait étalage des mille et une facettes de son talent. Il interpréta avec succès «Bahi Jamel», «Hassen Al Habib». Au fur et à mesure que les minutes s’égrènent et les rythmes varient, l’ambiance monte d’un cran.
Il chantait un vieux succès de Saliha «Frag Ghzali», faisant participer son public, le micro tendu dans tous les sens devant le regard de ses admirateurs, les poussant à se déhancher et à créer une ambiance exceptionnelle. Il faisait montre de toute l’étendue de son talent de virtuose à la guitare et d’interprète à la voix puissante et étoffée avec ses deux tubes, «Bellah ya hamami Belahi» et «Trahouija».
