TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS L’Inde deviendra la deuxième puissance économique mondiale d’ici un demi-siècle, selon un rapport de la banque Goldman Sachs. Portée par sa croissance démographique et d’autres facteurs, le pays dépassera les États-Unis pour occuper la deuxième place derrière la Chine.
Le rapport indique que l’Inde, actuellement la cinquième économie mondiale en termes de PIB, dépassera le Japon et l’Allemagne pour devenir la deuxième économie mondiale d’ici 2075. Les projections de Goldman Sachs prévoient que la Chine atteindra un PIB de 57 000 milliards de dollars d’ici 50 ans, soit près de trois fois son niveau actuel d’environ 20 000 milliards de dollars. L’Inde, quant à elle, atteindrait 52 500 milliards de dollars en 2075, soit 15 fois son PIB actuel. Les États-Unis se situeraient à 51 500 milliards de dollars.
La population indienne, qui est désormais la plus nombreuse au monde, constitue évidemment un atout majeur pour la croissance économique du pays. La croissance démographique de l’Inde entraînera une augmentation significative du nombre de personnes en âge de travailler dans les prochaines décennies.
Ces projections économiques soulignent le potentiel de croissance et le rôle croissant de l’Inde sur la scène mondiale…!!
