Grand spécialiste de « Broadway show » Mohamed Drissi proposera également une série de quatre Master class organisées par Le Centre d’Arts dramatiques de Ben Arous pour des chanteurs et comédiens professionnels invités pour l’occasion. Cinq danseurs du ballet de l’Opéra de Tunis, participeront à ces Master-class.
Tunisien, ayant grandi à Marseille (France), Mohamed Drissi est un chorégraphe, enseignant, réalisateur, producteur et interprète qui a étudié en France et à New York auprès de chorégraphes de renom tels que Matt Mattox, Helena et Titus Pomsar, Chet Walker, Christopher Chadman, Kathleen Marshall, Bob Rizzo et Phil Black, à la Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre School et au Broadway Dance Center.
Il s’est produit avec les compagnies de Manuel Alum, Anthony Morgan, Diane Jacobowitz Dance Theatre et avec Forces of Nature Dance Company en danse moderne et jazz et théâtre.
Il a enseigné la danse de théâtre musical et le jazz dans le monde entier, a créé plusieurs œuvres de jazz et chorégraphié de nombreuses comédies musicales, dont « Damn Yankees », « The Wizard of Oz », « West Side Story », « Pippin », « The Vagabond », « A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, » « Once On This Island », « Scrooge », « The Pajama Game », « Myth of Fox », « Hello Dolly », « Scrooge » , « La Cage Aux Folles » , « Smokey Joe’s Cafe », « The White Collar Principle », pour n’en nommer que quelques-uns.
Mohamed a été maître de conférences puis coordinateur du programme de danse de théâtre musical à l’Académie des arts du spectacle de Hong Kong de 1991 à 2005. Il est actuellement directeur artistique du Hong Kong 3 Arts Musical Institute. En 2017, Mohamed a reçu un prix de la Hong Kong Drama Federation pour sa contribution au développement du théâtre musical à Hong Kong
