L’objectif est d’encourager notamment l’excellence et l’innovation en développement et le transfert des connaissances, ainsi que l’innovation en matière de formation des étudiants en médecine et en sciences de la santé.
La date limite de dépôt des candidatures est fixée le 30 septembre 2023, indique un communiqué du ministère. Ce prix, d’une valeur de 5 mille dollars canadiens pour chaque catégorie, s’adresse aux enseignants et chercheurs tunisiens dans le domaine de médecine et des sciences de la santé qui exercent leurs professions en Tunisie. Le dossier de candidature doit être adressé à la direction générale de la coopération internationale au ministère de l’enseignement supérieur et de la recherche scientifique dans un délai ne dépassant par le 30 septembre 2023.
Le Dr Sadok Besrour, né en Tunisie, a été formé en médecine en France et a effectué sa résidence en médecine de famille à Montréal. L’université Montréal a créé la chaire Dr Sadok Besrour en considération à sa compétence scientifique.
