Les poursuites engagées contre Fathi Layouni concernent le fait qu’il ait ordonné aux travailleurs de la municipalité du Kram d’assiéger le siège d’une station de radio privée, d’empêcher ses employés et journalistes de rejoindre leurs postes de travail et d’assiéger le siège de la radio avec des tracteurs et des camions de nettoyage et enlever les ordures ménagères.
