TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – « L’Union générale tunisienne du travail (UGTT) refuse catégoriquement la saisie des salaires des instituteurs qui militent pour leurs droits », a souligné samedi, Noureddine Taboubi, secrétaire général de l’organisation syndicale.
« Environ 23 mille instituteurs ont été privés de leurs salaires et non pas seulement 17 mille comme le prétend le ministère de l’éducation », a-t-il fait savoir à l’ouverture des travaux de la commission administrative nationale de l’UGTT organisée samedi à Hammamet en solidarité avec le secteur de l’enseignement de base.
« Les instituteurs, dont les salaires ont été saisis, militent pour leurs droits et l’UGTT usera de tous les moyens juridiques pour les rétablir et les soutenir dans cette crise », a-t-il ajouté.
De son côté, le porte-parole de l’UGTT, Sami Tahri, a indiqué que la commission administrative nationale abordera également plusieurs points liés à la situation générale dans le pays, à la levée des subventions, à la hausse des prix, au processus de négociation avec l’Union européenne et au dossier des migrants subsahariens.
« Il s’agit également d’évaluer les actions précédentes et de se préparer à la prochaine commission administrative nationale qui étudiera plusieurs autres dossiers y compris l’Initiative proposée », a-t-il dit.
Une commission administrative du secteur de l’enseignement de base s’est réunie mercredi dernier pour examiner les récentes décisions du ministère de l’éducation et a décidé de poursuivre la mesure de rétention des notes des examens, prise depuis le début de l’année scolaire par la fédération générale de l’enseignement de base en signe de protestation contre l’insatisfaction de leurs revendications matérielles et professionnelles.
La fédération menace également de boycotter la prochaine rentrée scolaire en signe de protestation contre la saisie du salaire d’un mois de 17 mille instituteurs et le limogeage de 350 directeurs d’écoles primaires ayant refusé de remettre les notes des examens des trois trimestres de l’année scolaire 2022-2023.
La commission administrative a décidé de rester en session ouverte, pour le suivi de l’évolution de la situation et prendre les mesures nécessaires, en cas de besoin.
