- Création d’environ 50 mille emplois supplémentaires en Tunisie à l’horizon 2026
TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Le pacte du secteur du textile et habillement (TH) préparé par le Gouvernement va permettre de créer environ 50 mille emplois supplémentaires en Tunisie à l’horizon 2026, a indiqué le ministre de l’économie et de la Planification, Samir Saied.
Intervenant lors des travaux du congrès national de la Fédération Tunisienne du Textile et de l’Habillement, organisé, samedi, à Sousse, il a indiqué que ce pacte s’inscrit dans le cadre de la vision à l’horizon 2035 et du plan de développement 2023-2025. Et de poursuivre que cette vision est structurée autour de 6 axes, dont principalement, le développement des ressources humaines et l’orientation du secteur TH vers des activités à haute technologie et à forte valeur ajoutée.
« Le gouvernement œuvre, dans le cadre d’un objectif commun, avec tous les intervenants du secteur TH à augmenter la valeur des exportations du secteur de 2,4 milliards d’euros à 4 milliards d’euros, avec un taux de croissance de 5% à 6% entre 2022 + 2024, et de 13% à l’horizon 2025 », a expliqué Saïd.
Il s’agit, également, de revenir dans le top 5 du classement des pays exportateurs du secteur TH vers l’Union européenne, avec une part de 4% (part-de la Tunisie en 2008).
Le ministre a rappelé que le secteur du textile-habillement compte 1425 entreprises employant 10 personnes et plus dont 1150 entreprises totalement exportatrices.
Ces entreprises offrent 153474 postes d’emplois dont 138876 dans les entreprises totalement exportatrices.
Il a également souligné que la valeur globale des exportations du secteur s’est établie durant les premiers 5 mois de 2023 à 4212 millions de dinars (MD) et devrait clôturer l’année en cours à 10 milliards de dinars, sachant que ces exportations sont passées de 6294 MD en 2017 à 9156 MD en 2022.
Les pays de l’Union européenne constituent les principaux clients du secteur avec la France en tête (38% de la valeur des exportations) suivie par l’Italie (34%) et l’Allemagne (11%).
Les travaux du congrès ont également permis de mettre l’accent sur les principales actions menées par la Fédération Tunisienne du Textile et de l’Habillement ( FTTH) durant les 5 dernières années, notamment l’intensification des campagnes de promotion du secteur au niveau des marchés traditionnels et nouveaux, la coordination entre les professionnels et les structures de formation en matière de formation, l’amélioration des infrastructures et la mise en place d’incitations spécifiques aux investisseurs.
