Il semble que l’Algérie a décidé d’établir une tutelle de fait en imposant à la Tunisie une liste de qui doit la visiter, avec qui elle aurait le droit d’avoir ou ne pas avoir des relations diplomatiques. Un « Anschluss » que le régime algérien monnaye auprès d’autres Etats, comme l’Italie en contrepartie du gaz.
Pire encore, dans un colloque organisé le 30 et le 31 mai 2023 par le ministère algérien de la défense, l’affiche certainement approuvée par l’état-major de l’armée algérienne, efface purement et simplement la Tunisie. Selon cette carte, l’Algérie s’étend jusqu’à Sousse, Bizerte et Tunis. L’exemple du Donbass semble avoir fait école à Alger.
Bien sur le gouvernement tunisien n’a pas protesté, quelques bonbonnes de gaz valent bien une humiliation de plus. Affairé à courir derrière les baguettes de pain, il a oublié de lever la tête.

Nous l’avons dit ici et nous le répétons, le voisinage immédiat de la Tunisie lui est toxique. Inutile de se draper de « fraternité » de « passé commun » et de balivernes à sens unique. Ce qui fait Etat c’est la frontière, tracée, tenue et défendue fut-ce par la force des armes.
Se décoloniser du voisinage ou disparaître. C’est désormais l’équation.
