- OTIC : la hausse des prix des fournitures scolaires est de 15 à 18%, soit de 600 DT pour un élève du primaire et de 700 DT pour le collège et le secondaire
TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS – Le coût des fournitures pour l’année scolaire 2023/2024 a enregistré une augmentation variant de 15 à 18%, par rapport à l’année écoulée, a fait savoir le président de l’Organisation tunisienne pour Informer le Consommateur (OTIC), Lotfi Riahi.
Dans une déclaration à l’Agence TAP, Riahi a mis l’accent sur la hausse vertigineuse des prix qui a grevé le budget du citoyen, lequel s’est trouvé dans l’incapacité d’y faire face.
Il a révélé dans ce cadre, que le coût des fournitures scolaires pour un élève du primaire a atteint 600 dinars, alors qu’il s’est élevé à 700 dinars, pour un élève du secondaire (collégien et lycéen). « Au cas où les listes des fournitures remises aux parents sont davantage rationalisées, ces coûts pourraient être respectivement abaissés à 500 et 600 dinars ».
Et d’ajouter que les prix des manuels scolaires ont augmenté de 500 millimes chacun, tandis que les prix du cahier non-subventionné varient entre 6 et 25 dinars, des cartables entre 90 et 120 dinars et des tenues de sport entre 150 et 200 dinars.
Riahi a appelé à ce propos, le ministère de l’éducation à veiller à rationaliser et unifier les listes des fournitures données aux parents et ne pas exiger de cahiers non-subventionnés afin d’abaisser les prix.
Il a par ailleurs, souligné l’importance de l’interdiction des cours particuliers en dehors des établissements éducatifs, rappelant que les tarifs pour ces cours varient entre 250 et 300 dinars, par mois.
Récemment, l’Institut national de la consommation (INC) et l’Observatoire national de l’approvisionnement et des prix ont calculé le coût approximatif de la rentrée scolaire via la collecte des données auprès des librairies et des espaces commerciaux dans différentes zones de Tunis.
La directrice de recherche à l’Institut national de la consommation, Darine Dogui, avait indiqué le 2 septembre, dans une conférence de presse que le coût global de la rentrée scolaire, en comptabilisant le coût du cartable et du tablier, varie entre 121 D pour la première année de l’enseignement de base, 188 D pour la septième année et 226 D pour un élève en baccalauréat science.
