TUNIS – UNIVERSNEWS Lors de sa réunion aujourd’hui, le Conseil d’administration de la BH Bank a décidé d’entériner, à la majorité des voix, la nomination de M. WAJDI KOUBAA en tant que nouveau Directeur général de la banque.
Le Ministère des Finances avait annoncé, au mois d’août dernier, l’ouverture des candidatures pour le poste de Directeur Général de la banque publique «BH Bank», soulignant que le deadline de réception des dossiers est fixé au 31 août 2022. La commission en charge de cet appel à candidature a retenu Wajdi KOUBAA parmi 47 candidats.
Le différent est enfin reglé après deux réunions du C.A durant lesquels il y’avait eu des reticences de la part des actionnaires privés concernant ce choix.

Riche d’une expérience professionnelle et managériale axée essentiellement sur les activités de la Banque de Financement et d’Investissement (BFI) et de la Banque Universelle de plus de 27 ans, Wajdi KOUBAA a réalisé l’essentiel de sa carrière au sein des 4 plus grands groupes bancaires Français.
Après un passage par l’Inspection Générale de Natixis (Groupe BPCE) en qualité de chef de mission, il a été envoyé à Madagascar au poste de Secrétaire Général de la Banque Malgache de l’Océan Indien (BMOI) puis en Tunisie en qualité de Directeur Général par intérim et Directeur Général Adjoint de la BTK Bank avec pour missions la conduite des chantiers structurants d’assainissement de la Banque, de la réorganisation de ses activités et de la transformation digitale.
Avant de revenir en Tunisie pour rejoindre la BH Bank, il était chargé du pilotage des activités commerciales et financières des filiales à l’international de la BRED – Groupe BPCE, notamment celles spécialisées dans le Trade Finance en Suisse et d’autres banques commerciales implantées dans la zone pacifique.
Agé de 55 ans, Wajdi KOUBAA est titulaire d’un Doctorat et d’un diplôme d’Ingénieur de l’Ecole Arts et Métiers ParisTech.
